I’m Mike Trotter, the proud owner of TROTTER ELECTRICAL.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I began my career as a paramedic but soon realized that this was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Leaving a well-paying job to start over was a risky gamble, but it paid off, and I’m glad that I decided to start a new vocation as an electrician.

I began my apprenticeship at twenty-eight, and later became a journeyman 309A construction and maintenance electrician. I achieved my red seal certification by the age of thirty-two, and once I qualified as a master electrician, I decided to start my firm.

Since launching my company two years ago, I’ve realized that business is a continuous learning process. Every time a particular obstacle is overcome, I’m happy to take giant strides forward and grow as a consequence.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my honesty, integrity, and professionalism. I develop a rapport with contractors in all trades so that I can complete projects effectively and exceed clients’ expectations.

I also attribute my success to my wife’s patience. I will never forget the people who have helped me in my life journey, and I’m also grateful to my first boss, who gave me the confidence and skills to succeed in my enterprise.

I enjoy the freedom of being an entrepreneur, as it affords me the luxury to select my working hours. When I am not rewiring buildings, I love spending time with my family. I’ve been married for ten wonderful years, and I have two young kids, so they keep me pretty busy.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from my expertise as a master electrician in Bowmanville, Ontario, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit my website at
